We are presenting the “Coperion 3D – A Virtual Factory on the Tabletop” application paper with fraunhofer igd at intuition conference 2008.
The paper describes the development of a virtual factory application based on multi-touch interaction, high resolution projection technology and industry
standards like X3D. The application is a presentation tool to describe hidden complex physical processes inside a plant for bulk material handling. We are
covering the project objectives, the scene architecture and the CAD and physical
simulation production pipelines.
