Spontech represents many years of experience of leading spine surgeons, who incorporate their extensive knowledge from science and practice directly into the development of spontech products.

Due to the demographic development, it can be expected that the degenerative spinal diseases will increase significantly and continuously. At the same time, patients’ demands on the quality of surgical performance increase. The long-term success of a spinal surgery is all the greater, the more accurate the original – individually different – anatomy can be restored. Our goal is a significantly better quality of outcome in spinal surgery through an individual patient care with a software-based surgical planning. This is achieved by a combination of clinical knowledge and extensive data analysis.

With the mobile augmented reality application, spontech’s design and systems has created a tool that gives physicians and patients an insight into the benefits that can be gained by enriching individual patient conversations with medical aids and the collection and interpretation of data. In several steps, the prototype supports the doctor and patient from the first X-ray images to successful surgery.
